On a performance level, the Hyundai Sonata has undergone a couple of noteworthy changes. You will no longer be able to enjoy the 180-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, but never fear – the 290-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder isn’t going anywhere! And finally, all-wheel drive is now available.

Design Updates

The Hyundai Sonata has gone through a couple of design changes for 2024. For one, the exterior daytime running lights have been switched out for new ones, and the rear bumper cover and taillights have also been reimagined. Technology Updates

As far as technology goes, the Hyundai Sonata remains mostly unchanged. The one major update is that there are now two 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreens. Still standard are features like wireless Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker sound system, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assistance. Because staying connected while on the go should be easy!
